4 years agoColorado Rockies interim general manager Bill Schmidt has yet to discuss a contract extension with star shortstop Trevor Story or Story's agent. Story is set to become an unrestricted free agent after this year. The fact that Schmidt and Story haven't begun negotiations makes it likely that Story is playing his last year in Colorado and could even be dealt some time this season. Story's fantasy value would certainly take a hit if he moved away from the league's most hitter-friendly ballpark, Coors Field, but he'd still offer a ton of fantasy upside regardless of his landing spot.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
