4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Tim Locastro is back in the starting lineup and hitting leadoff against Pablo Lopez and the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. Locastro missed about two weeks with a finger injury. He entered Tuesday's game as a pinch-runner, but this is his first start since April 17. Meanwhile, Pavin Smith, who had been the team's primary leadoff hitter with Locastro out, is batting fifth in the game. This will be a situation to monitor as both players have shown promise as the team's leadoff hitter. Smith offers more power and has slashed .260/.304/.458 this year, while Locastro is a prime stolen base threat.
