Trea Turner Currently On 30/30 Pace
4 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner is off to a fantastic start to the 2021 season. Through 25 games, he is slashing .320/.371/.546 with six home runs, four doubles, 13 runs, 10 RBI and seven stolen bases. He has a legitimate shot at a 30/30 season as he is currently on a 162-game pace for about 39 home runs and 45 stolen bases. He stole a career-high 46 bases over just 98 games in 2017, so he should be able to easily top 30 stolen bases if he stays healthy. However, he's never reached 20 home runs in a season as he hit exactly 19 home runs in both 2018 and 2019. We'll see if he can keep up his career-best pace. Regardless, he appears likely to be one of the most valuable assets in head-to-head categories leagues and rotisserie leagues due to his elite power/speed combo.
