Alex Kirilloff Dealing With Wrist Injury
4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff (wrist) was unavailable Tuesday due to a right wrist injury that he suffered while sliding into second base during Monday's game against the Rangers. Kirilloff- who is 9-for-28 with four home runs and 11 RBI in his last seven games- is set to see a hand specialist on Wednesday. It's not yet clear how serious the ailment is, though it should be known tomorrow whether or not the top prospect will require a trip to the injured list or not. That would be a tough blow to a Twins lineup that has seen a noticeable spark from Kirilloff's presence.
