Giancarlo Stanton Keeps Mashing In Win Over Astros
4 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton went 4-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in a 7-3 win over Houston on Tuesday night. Stanton put the Yankees on the board with a two-run blast in the first inning, then added onto the lead in the sixth inning with an RBI single. The slugger is red-hot still, as he currently has a 10-game hitting streak and 14 hits in his last five games, the most of any five-game stretch in his career. Stanton ranks in the 100th-percentile in average exit velocity, max exit velocity, and hard-hit rate- he could be on his way to his best season as a Yankee in 2021.
