Daniel Lynch To Make MLB Debut On Monday
4 years agoThe Kansas City Royals are calling up starting pitcher Daniel Lynch to make his MLB debut against the Cleveland Indians on Monday. The 24-year-old Lynch is the No. 2 prospect in the team's organization and the No. 24 prospect in the entire league, per MLB Pipeline. Jakob Junis is shifting to the bullpen in order to clear a rotation spot. Assuming all goes relatively well on Monday, Lynch will be set for two starts this week, with the second one coming on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox. Lynch pitched to a 2.99 ERA and 1.287 WHIP while averaging 9.0 K/9 over 96.1 innings across multiple minor league levels in 2019. He's not a must-add in any non-dynasty league, but he's certainly worth monitoring for all fantasy managers.
