4 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays have called up pitcher Shane McClanahan. He will be added to the team's taxi squad for Wednesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. He will then make his MLB debut as the team's starter against the Athletics on Thursday. McClanahan is one of the team's top pitching prospects. Over 24 games and 120.2 innings across several minor league levels in 2019, he posted a 3.36 ERA and 1.21 WHIP while averaging 11.5 K/9.
