4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) began hitting in the cage on Tuesday and is slated to hit out of the cages again on Wednesday. Yelich has been on the injured list with a back issue and last played in a game on April 11. There's still no official timetable for his return, though the Brewers organization has been reportedly "optimistic" that he will return before the end of the week. We'll see if he can deliver on his team's optimism. Fantasy managers need to continue to monitor the situation throughout the week, but it indeed sounds like he's on the right track now that he's swinging the bat again.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
