Carlos Santana Tallies Two Hits In Tuesday's Loss
4 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Carlos Santana was one of team's only productive hitters in their 2-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday. Santana went 2-for-4 in the game with two singles and an RBI. Through 22 games on the year, Santana is slashing .244/.362/.487 with five home runs, four doubles and 19 RBI. He had a sluggish start to the year, but has come around nicely over the past few weeks. Santana should be rostered and started in just about all fantasy leagues. He's particularly valuable in on-base percentage leagues as he has a low career batting average of .248, but a fantastic career walk rate of 15.4%.
