4 years agoDetroit Tigers utility man Niko Goodrum helped spark the team's offense in their 5-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday. Goodrum went 1-for-4 in the game, hitting a two-run home run in the seventh inning that gave the team a lead it wouldn't relinquish. Through 18 games this year, Goodrum is slashing .210/.279/.419 with three home runs, two doubles, a triple, five RBI and nine runs. He's playing about two out of every three games right now. If he could get slightly more playing time and raise his batting average a bit, he could be worth a roster spot in deep leagues and AL-only leagues, but he can remain on waivers in all leagues for now.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
