4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome was charged with his third loss of the season in Monday's 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Indians. Colome came on in the ninth with the game tied and gave up a two-run shot to Jordan Luplow on a misplaced cutter to give Cleveland the victory. The veteran relief pitcher has now blown a save or taken the loss in three of his last four appearances and certainly isn't inspiring much confidence in manager Rocco Baldelli that he can hold down the ninth right now. Taylor Rogers, who pitched the ninth, seems destined for more save chances moving forward until Colome can get himself right.--Tim Capurso
