Brandon Belt Removed From Tuesday's Game With Quad Tightness
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (quad) was lifted late in Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after his right quad tightened up. Giants manager Gabe Kapler stated that Belt would be reevaluated on Wednesday morning. Belt went 0-for-4 in the game with a walk and run scored before exiting. There's a decent chance Belt will sit out Wednesday's game against the Phillies, but we should know more soon. Through 17 games this year, Belt is slashing .190/.306/.452 with three home runs and six RBI.
