Camilo Doval Makes MLB Debut Sunday With Scoreless Inning
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Camilo Doval made his MLB debut in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Marlins. The 23-year-old came into the game in the seventh inning up by one and pitched a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts. Doval is one of the Giants' top-30 prospects and had not pitched above Class A Advanced San Jose in his career. While Doval does not carry fantasy value at this time except in dynasty leagues, he has the stuff to potentially be a late-inning reliever or closer for the Giants in the future. It will be exciting to see how he continues to perform throughout the season.
