BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 44% of leagues
ANALYSIS: It's been a smooth homecoming thus far for Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton. Eaton served as Chicago's primary leadoff hitter while Tim Anderson was sidelined, then shifted to the No. 2 spot upon Anderson's return this past week. He's done a great job routinely getting on base from both slots. He entered Sunday's action on a seven-game hitting streak and he's reached base in each game he's played this year.
Through 13 games, Eaton is slashing .265/.390/.469 with three home runs, seven walks, 11 RBI and 12 runs. He's recorded barrels on three of his first 38 batted balls, making for a much higher barrel rate (7.9%) than we're used to seeing from him as he usual hovers around a 4% barrel rate.
Eaton should be rostered in all leagues and he's especially valuable in points leagues to his prime spot in a potent White Sox lineup. His power numbers will likely drop off, but he should be a strong source of hits, walks and runs all year as long as he stays near the top of the lineup.
