Ross Stripling Scratched From Wednesday's Start
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling (forearm) has been scratched from Wednesday's start against the New York Yankees with right forearm tightness. T.J. Zeuch will start in his place. According to Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo, Stripling wasn't able to get his forearm loose enough in pregame warmups to enable him to go today. Stripling is off to a rough start to the year. Over two starts, he's gone 0-1 with a 7.56 ERA and 1.92 WHIP. We'll see if he requires a trip to the injured list or if he's able to make his next start, which as of now would be on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox.
