4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres is heading to the bench for the first time this year on Tuesday as the team takes on Hyun-Jin Ryu and the Toronto Blue Jays. Gio Urshela is shifting over to cover shortstop in the game. Torres is off to a quiet start to the season. He's slashing .205/.295/.231 and is still looking for his first home run. His only extra-base hit has been a double and he has just one RBI. The slow start is especially disappointing given Torres' struggles in 2020. Fantasy managers have little choice but to stay patient with Torres for now. Expect to see him back in the lineup for the final game of the series on Wednesday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
