Akil Baddoo Goes Yard For Third Home Run On Monday
4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo had a solid game in Monday's 6-2 win over the Houston Astros. Baddoo went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and two RBI. The home run was his third of the year and his first since his grand slam last Monday. Baddoo is now slashing .368/.381/1.000 through seven games and 20 plate appearances. He's started three of the team's past four games and looks to be a safe bet for semi-regular playing time going forward. He should be rostered in all deep leagues and all five-outfielder leagues. He's still hitting in the lower-third of the lineup, but if he keeps mashing, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch will be forced to move him up.
