Christian Yelich Day-To-Day With Back Soreness
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) was lifted in the second inning of Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals with back soreness. According to manager Craig Counsell, Yelich is day-to-day. Yelich had two at-bats in Sunday's game before he exited. He went 1-for-2 and scored a run. He was replaced in the game by Jackie Bradley Jr. Yelich is slashing .333/.459/.367 through nine games this year, but he is still searching for his first home run. He has just one extra-base hit, a double. Hopefully he'll be ready to go for the team's next game against the Chicago Cubs on Monday.
