4 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays have sent pitcher Brent Honeywell Jr. back down to their alternate site following his MLB debut on Sunday. The move is not a surprise as the team wants to build up his workload at the alternate site, rather than the Majors. Honeywell looked good in his outing on Sunday, retiring each of the six New York Yankees batters he faced while recording two strikeouts. He will likely see more opportunities as an opener or in relief for the Rays in the coming months.
