4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (groin) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right groin strain. The team recalled outfielder Lane Thomas from the alternate site in a corresponding move. O'Neill left Saturday's game in the third inning and was initially being considered day-to-day with right groin tightness. He's been the team's primary left fielder to start the year. Austin Dean is getting the start in left field on Sunday and should see semi-regular playing time while O'Neill is out. Thomas, who is starting in center field on Sunday, should also get some scattered starts.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
