Joe Ross Has Promising 2021 Debut Outing
4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross made his first start since October of 2019 on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers and pitched well. He went five innings and allowed two hits, two walks and no runs while striking out four. Ross opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns. In 2019, he went 4-4 with a 5.48 ERA and 1.67 WHIP. He's worth keeping an eye on in deep leagues and NL-only leagues, but isn't a must-add in any format at this point. His next start will be on Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
