4 years agoDetroit Tigers top prospect Spencer Torkelson had an abysmal first spring training with the club this year. He went just 1-for-27 with four walks and 16 strikeouts. As a result, the 21-year-old was reassigned to the minors to start the year. Despite the struggles, Torkelson told the press in a recent interview that he remains upbeat and confident. Torkelson was selected first overall by the Tigers in the 2020 MLB draft. He has tantalizing upside, but he still might be a year or two away from making his MLB debut.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
