Kawhi Leonard Drops 28 Points In Losing Effort
4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard scored 28 points with five rebounds, five assists, two three-pointers, and a steal in Tuesday's loss to the Magic. Leonard was very efficient once again, shooting 10-for-20 from the field while making 2 of 4 three-point attempts and all six free throws. The superstar forward has been a two-way constant with Paul George (foot) in and out of the lineup over the last five games, averaging 25.8 points per game on 54.7 percent shooting from the field while recording 2.4 steals per contest. Perhaps the biggest takeaway from Tuesday's game is that Leonard played in both halves of the back-to-back after missing one half last week. Up next is a matchup on Thursday against Denver. Leonard scored 21 points with four steals in the first meeting and should be trusted to have a similar performance this time around.
