Jeimer Candelario Having A Solid Spring
4 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Jeimer Candelario has been one of the team's best hitters this spring. Over 44 at-bats, he's slashing .341/.388/.432 with three walks and only six strikeouts. He's yet to hit a home run, but he has two doubles and a triple. Candelario hit just .203 during a rough 2019 season, but he bounced back in 2020, slashing .297/.369/.503 with seven home runs, 29 RBI and 30 runs over 52 games. He'll be the team's primary first baseman this year and should hit right in the heart of the lineup. He has an ADP around 300 right now. He's a solid value at that point if you are looking for some infield depth and some help in batting average.
