4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi has appeared in 17 games so far this spring. Over 40 at-bats, he's slashing .225/.340/.350 with three RBI and five runs. He has five total extra-base hits, all of which have been doubles. He's yet to homer this spring. He's shown solid plate discipline as he's walked seven times, compared with 12 strikeouts. Benintendi currently has an ADP around 230. His last two years in Boston were extremely disappointing. He slashed .266/.343/.431 in 2019, then slashed .103/.314/.128 over 14 games in 2020. Hopefully a change of scenario will help him turn things around. He should hit somewhere in or around the heart of the Royals' batting order to start the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
