4 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals re-signed running back Samaje Perine to an undisclosed two-year deal. Perine had 74 touches last season for 367 yards and three touchdowns for the Bengals in 16 games (one start). The 25-year-old will once again compete for touches as the No. 2 with Giovani Bernard behind Joe Mixon. Perine was a fourth-round pick by Washington in 2017 out of Oklahoma. He spent his first two years in the NFL with Washington, carrying the ball 183 times for 635 yards and one touchdown in 21 games (eight starts). He spent the 2019 season with the Miami Dolphins and the Bengals. Perine has 251 career carries for 952 yards and four touchdowns in 44 games (nine starts) over four NFL seasons. He should begin the 2021 season on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues.
