Buccaneers Re-Sign Ryan Succop
4 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed kicker Ryan Succop to a three-year deal worth $12 million with $6.25 million guaranteed, according to a source. Succop will receive $8.25 million over the first two years. The Buccaneers continue to bring back players from the championship roster in 2020. Succop made 28 of his 31 field-goal attempts (90.3 percent) during the regular season and 25 of his 27 extra-point tries in 16 games. In his 12 seasons in the NFL, Succop has made 83 percent of his 318 field-goal attempts for the Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans and Buccaneers. He should continue to be fantasy relevant, at least as a low-end kicking option, in a Tampa offense that will be led once again by future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady in 2021.
