James Harden Notches 40-Point Triple-Double In Win Over Pacers
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard James Harden exploded for 40 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds, two triples, and two steals in a 124-115 win over Indiana on Wednesday. Harden shot just 22.2 percent from beyond the arc, but that's about the only complaint, considering he made 12 free throws and committed only two turnovers in 42 minutes. With Kevin Durant (hamstring) still out and Kyrie Irving (groin) sidelined for tonight's game, Harden performed a solo act- and he did not disappoint, delivering his third straight triple-double and the 16th 40-point triple-double of his career, trailing only Oscar Robertson, per StatMuse. Harden will get a Friday matchup with Orlando, who has already been a triple-double victim to The Beard this season.
