Brad Keller Hit Hard By Mariners
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller had an outing to forget on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners. He pitched three innings and allowed six hits, three walks and six runs (five earned) while striking out two. He has now pitched 9.1 innings this spring and has a 5.79 ERA and 2.36 WHIP with six strikeouts and seven walks. Keller was fantastic in 2020, going 5-3 with a 2.47 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. He figures to be the Royals' starting pitcher on opening day. He should be a solid source of ERA and WHIP help for fantasy managers, but he doesn't offer much in the strikeout department. He averaged just 5.8 K/9 last year.
