Juan Soto Still Battling Sinus Discomfort
4 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto (illness) remained out of the spring lineup on Thursday due to sinus discomfort. Soto has tested negative for COVID-19, according to manager Dave Martinez. "He's been sick for a couple days," Martinez said. "I just want to make sure he's OK. … It was just me being cautious. It's still early. He said he feels fine, he wanted to play today. The more I thought about it, I just need to be smart about it." The star outfielder was also sent home on Wednesday, but it doesn't sound like anything concerning. Soto is just 22 years old, but he's already one of the best all-around players in the major leagues. Expect to see him back in action in the Grapefruit League very soon, and fantasy managers won't see him last past the first five picks in drafts.
