4 years agoThe Washington Nationals are expected to offer shortstop Trea Turner an extension within the next year or so. He is eligible for a year of arbitration before becoming a free agent in 2023. Turner recently said in an interview, "I would love to play my entire career here." Turner had a fantastic year in 2020, despite the Nationals' struggles as a whole. Over 59 games in 2020, Turner slashed .335/.394/.588 with 12 home runs, 41 RBI, 46 runs and 12 stolen bases.
