Bills Release John Brown, Quinton Jefferson
4 years agoThe Buffalo Bills released wide receiver John Brown and defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson on Wednesday. Brown had a career year in 2019, going for 72 catches, 1,060 receiving yards and six touchdowns, but he had only 33 receptions for 458 yards and three touchdowns in 2020 and was limited to just nine games because of an ankle injury. The 30-year-old had 105 catches for 1,518 yards and nine touchdowns in 24 games with the Bills. Brown could still find plenty of fantasy value in 2021, depending on where he lands in free agency. Jefferson spent four years with Seattle before joining Buffalo in 2020. He had three sacks, six QB hits, three tackles for loss, 23 total tackles and one forced fumble last year.
