4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer had a solid rookie year in 2020. He went 4-5 with a 4.06 ERA and 1.17 WHIP while averaging 8.5 K/9. His strongest stretch came over his last four starts, three of which were quality starts, including an eight inning, one-hit gem against the Cleveland Indians. The 24-year-old Singer has a chance to be one of the team's top pitchers in 2021. He'll need to make some strides in strikeouts. His 24.2% whiff rate ranked amongst the bottom-third of the league last year. He'll also need to find a way to consistently go deeper into games.
