4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (foot) has yet to make his spring training debut. He's been sidelined with a foot injury that was sustained when he was hit by a pitch before camp started. However, on Wednesday morning, he took part in batting practice and also ran the bases and did some fielding drills. Royals manager Mike Matheny has said that the team is being cautious with him. It may still be a few days or more until we see Mondesi make his spring debut. Mondesi led the majors with 24 stolen bases last year and also recorded six home runs, 22 RBI and 33 runs over 59 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
