Seuly Matias Hits Towering Home Run On Monday
4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Seuly Matias crushed a towering home run in the ninth inning of Monday's game against the Cleveland Indians. The home run ball was estimated to be at least 520 feet. It hit the top of a palm tree near the left field scoreboard at Arizona's Goodyear Ballpark. Matias is 22 years old and has certainly flashed some serious power in the minors. He hit 31 home runs over 94 games in Single-A in 2018. He's a long-shot to make the Royals' opening day roster and may still be at least a year away from making his MLB debut. The Royals have solid outfield depth and Matias is yet to play above High-A.
