4 years agoDetroit Tigers designated hitter Miguel Cabrera has a few monumental milestones within reach this year. He will the 2021 MLB season with 487 career home runs and 2,866 career hits. If he stays healthy, it's very likely he'll reach both 500 home runs and 3,000 hits this season. Cabrera, who turns 38 in mid-April has brought a lot of energy to the team's workouts so far in February. He seems to be in a great place heading into his 19th MLB season. Cabrera closed the 2020 season strong, slashing .391/.391/.783 over with three home runs and 10 RBI over his last seven games. He projects to hit right in the heart of the Tigers lineup once again this year and should have some late round value in AL-only leagues and deep mixed leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
