Jason Pierre-Paul Undergoes Knee Cleanup
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul (knee), who was in and out of practice last season due to a knee injury, underwent a minor knee cleanup procedure on Wednesday. Despite the nagging knee injury, Pierre-Paul played in all 16 regular season games in 2020 and earned his third career Pro Bowl selection by racking up 55 tackles (34 solo), seven tackles for loss, 14 QB hits, a career-high two interceptions, six passes defensed, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 9.5 sacks. JPP finished as the top-scoring IDP defensive lineman for a nasty Buccaneers defensive line that ultimately disrupted Patrick Mahomes and single-handedly won Super Bowl LV. If healthy next season, Pierre-Paul will be a very attractive D-lineman in IDP formats yet again.
