Thaddeus Young Shoots 9-For-11, Snatches Five Steals
4 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Thaddeus Young continued his recent hot streak with a strong all-around game on Wednesday against the New York Knicks. Young shot 9-for-11 from the field and scored 19 points to go along with four rebounds, two assists, five steals and a block. Young has seen his playing time and usage go up quite a bit over the past week and he's contributed a number of different stats along the way. He had been averaging 9.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game over his previous three games before this one and he's now recorded at least one steal in nine straight games. Next up for Young is a matchup against the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Magic have been protective of the rock this year, averaging just 12.9 turnovers per game on the year, so Young might have to work extra hard to keep his steal streak going.
