4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has plenty of confidence that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is the right man for the job under center in San Francisco. "I still believe in Jimmy G. I think we can win a Super Bowl with him. I think he's a fantastic quarterback," Kittle said. Garoppolo missed 10 games in 2020 due to a high-ankle sprain and played in only three games in 2018 due to injury. The Niners went 13-3 and reached the Super Bowl when Jimmy G was healthy in 2019, but he's also shown inconsistent play. But it's not just Kittle that has faith in the 29-year-old, as the 49ers coaching staff also believes in Garoppolo. While there are plenty of rumors that San Fran wants to make a big move to replace Garoppolo at QB this offseason, don't be surprised if he returns as the starter. But Garoppolo has been mostly a game manager when healthy, meaning that he doesn't have a ton of upside as a QB2 for fantasy managers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
