Antonio Brown Doubtful To Play In Super Bowl
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown (knee) and safety Jordan Whitehead (knee, shoulder) are listed as doubtful to play in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 7. Brown and Whitehead both missed practice all week, so they'll have to make big improvements next week in order to have a shot at playing. Brown was injured in the Divisional Round win over the Saints and barely played in the second half before sitting out in the win over the Packers in the NFC Championship game. Scotty Miller benefitted with two catches for 36 yards and a touchdown against Green Bay, while rookie Tyler Johnson was more involved as well. Miller and Johnson should continue to see more opportunities against the Chiefs on Feb. 7 behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin if Brown cannot suit up.
