4 years agoAlabama quarterback Mac Jones met with the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans during his rounds of Senior Bowl interviews this week. The 6-foot-3, 217-pound quarterback has been the most impressive of the six QBs at the Senior Bowl, according to an area scout for an AFC team. Jones is projected to be a borderline first-round pick, ranking 33rd overall in NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah's initial top-50 rankings. Jones threw for 4,500 yards with 41 touchdowns and only four interceptions in 13 games in 2020. The Pats, Saints and Texans could all be looking for QBs in this year's draft, with Houston potentially trading away a disgruntled Deshaun Watson after he publicly requested a trade this week. Jones rolled his ankle in practice on Thursday and is unsure if he'll actually play in the Senior Bowl on Saturday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
