Jerami Grant Drops Team-High 26 Points Against Cavaliers
4 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant continued his breakout 2020-21 campaign with a strong performance in Wednesday night's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Grant shot 7-of-13 from the field, including 2-for-2 from deep, and a perfect 10-for-10 from the line on the way to a team-high 26 points. He wasn't able to contribute much else in the game with three rebounds, two assists and a steal. This was only the second time in his past 10 games that he failed to record a block. Still, he's averaging a career-high 24.4 points per game on the year to go along with several other strong statistics. Grant and the Pistons suit up again on Thursday night for a game against the Los Angeles Lakers, who are allowing just 104.6 points per game this year, which ranks second in the league.
