Brewers Showing Interest In Eddie Rosario
4 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers have shown interest in free-agent outfielder Eddie Rosario, according to sources. However, it's unclear how Rosario would fit with Milwaukee defensively with a deep outfield and no clarity on a universal designated hitter again in 2021. Ryan Braun is a free agent, but the Brewers still have Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain and Avisail Garcia in their outfield. The 29-year-old Rosario has averaged 33 home runs and 103 RBI per 162 games in the last four years while hitting .281 in that span, but he also has a .310 career on-base percentage and is a below-average defensive outfielder. While the Brewers are interested in Rosario, they might be unlikely to sign him unless the National League has the DH in play again.
