Ronald Jones II's Status To Be Determined
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II (quadriceps) couldn't get his leg loose before the wild-card win over the Washington Football Team on Saturday night, and swelling he sustained during pre-game warm-ups forced him to stay on the sidelines for the entire game. Jones didn't exacerbate the injury, but his status for the Divisional Round is to be determined and will likely depend on how much he can do in practice this week. You took a fat zero if you had the 23-year-old in your wild-card lineups this weekend, and he'll be hard to trust again next weekend, even if he's active. Leonard Fournette saw a season-high 19 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown against Washington, adding four catches for 39 yards. The Bucs will face either the Rams or the Saints in the Divisional Round, setting up a tough matchup for Fournette and/or Jones in the next round of the postseason.
