Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas Officially Active
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) are officially active for the wild-card playoff game against the Bears on Sunday. Kamara tested positive for COVID-19 and missed the Week 17 regular season finale but has been cleared from all the protocols. He was the top fantasy RB in PPR formats and scored six touchdowns to help fantasy managers win their leagues in Week 16. Kamara will be back in a lot of lineups in playoff leagues. Thomas was activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday and will be playing for the first time in four weeks. The 27-year-old All-Pro had a disappointing 2020 season with just 40 receptions, 438 yards and no touchdowns after leading the league the previous two seasons in catches. Thomas will have WR1 upside, but he'll continue to be a risk-reward fantasy pass-catcher, depending on how productive he can be while fighting through his ankle injury.
