4 years agoNew Orleans Saints vice president/assistant general manager of pro personnel Terry Fontenot is one of "two or three finalists" for the Atlanta Falcons general manager job, according to league sources. The Saints could be rewarded for losing a minority head coach or executive if Fontenot leaves for the division-rival Falcons by receiving two compensatory third-round draft picks in consecutive years. The Denver Broncos also interviewed Fontenot for their vacant GM job on Saturday and came away impressed by him, according to a source. He's in his 16th season with the Saints and has worked as a professional scout and spent six seasons as the team's director of professional scouting.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
