Jared Goff, John Wolford Should Be OK
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterbacks Jared Goff (thumb) and John Wolford (neck) are both banged up following the wild-card win over the Seahawks, but a source said that both of them "should be OK." Wolford took a hard hit to his head/neck in the first quarter and was sent to the hospital, but he returned to LA on Saturday night with the team. Wolford went 3-for-6 for 29 yards against Seattle before leaving the game and never returning. Goff entered and finished just 9-for-19 for 155 yards and a touchdown. The Rams tried to protect Goff's surgically repaired right thumb, and the signal-caller looked bothered by the injured finger at times while throwing wobbly and off-target passes. Both quarterbacks could be limited in practice this week in the lead-up to their Divisional Round game, but we'd expect Goff to get the nod unless he has a setback with his finger. Based on the way he looked against the Seahawks, Goff would be an extremely shaky fantasy quarterback for next round.
