Donovan Peoples-Jones Clears Concussion Protocol
4 years agoCleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (concussion) cleared the league's concussion protocols on Friday and will practice after missing the last two days. Peoples-Jones suffered a head injury in the Week 17 win over the Steelers, but even though he cleared the protocol, he's likely to be questionable to face Pittsburgh for the second straight week in the wild-card playoff game on Sunday night. The 21-year-old sixth-round pick out of Michigan had only 14 receptions on 20 targets for 304 yards (21.7 yards per catch) and two touchdowns in 12 games (two starts) this season for Cleveland. Peoples-Jones could surface for a big play here or there if he's active on Sunday night, but you can't trust him in fantasy lineups, especially with Cleveland playing in the last game on wild-card weekend.
