Kyrie Irving Will Miss Thursday’s Game
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving (personal) has been deemed out for Thursday's contest against the 76ers due to personal reasons. The absence of Irving will leave Brooklyn strapped for star power, while Kevin Durant remains in quarantine under the league's health and safety protocols. Caris Levert is in line for a significant increase in workload with Irving sidelined, having gone for 28 points and 11 assists the last time that both Durant and Irving were unavailable. Chris Chiozza jumps into DFS consideration as well. In the same aforementioned game as LeVert, Chiozza logged 27 minutes and dropped 14 points with Brooklyn short-handed. Irving's next chance to return to action comes Friday versus Memphis.
