Allen Robinson II Doesn't Practice Thursday
4 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson II (hamstring) didn't take part in practice on Thursday. Robinson was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, so the Bears are likely just giving him a breather before the wild-card playoff game against the Saints on Sunday. Receivers Darnell Mooney (ankle) and Cordarrelle Patterson (personal) also missed practice for the second straight day, which is bad news for their availability this weekend. A-Rob was a non-factor against cornerback Jaire Alexander in Week 17 against the Packers, catching two of five targets for 37 yards. New Orleans' defense is very strong, so Robinson will have his hands full, but he should be a high-end WR1 this weekend. Even more targets could come his way if Mooney is unable to play. The 27-year-old finished the 2020 season with 1,250 receiving yards, six touchdowns and a career-high 102 catches.
